Is getting angry a bad thing?

Anger is a normal human reaction but not when it gets out of control. Anger can be caused by both external and internal stimulus. How do you express your anger?

Commonly, people express their anger in aggressive ways. Some show their anger as attacking behaviours, such as shouting, cursing and hurling hurtful and caustic insults. Some commit violent acts such as abusing a weaker child or person, engage in fighting or damage things

Anger can be suppressed. This happens when you hold in your anger and divert your focus on something positive, trying to convert it into more constructive behavior. Anger that isn’t allowed outward expression can turn inward on yourself and may cause hypertension, high blood pressure, or depression.

Unexpressed anger can create other problems. You may develop passive-aggressive behavior or undesired personality traits.
